Oh my goodness, I LOVE this! I know there's a time difference for me, I hope I'm not too late! Not my greatest, but I'm pretty sure I had thirty minutes to think of this stuff, so forgive the vobalaan rotte. No time to even read the forum posts. For a weak or unworthy ruler: vobaliin, from vo-, balaan, and in To permeate through time: zel, inspired by Kel Kalpa/world cycle: mudus, inspired by Mundus; seyz

I get you, my man. It is February 1st here.

Also, if you guys like the past event as u'um, what about dezu'um for an inevitable event that will take place in the future?  It uses dez as 'fate' and extends the u'um, su'um, thu'um, dezu'um continuum.

What about a continued shortening, du'um?  It could also be a tie-in with the Engligh word, doom.

Hey guys, I'm trying not to hog all the ideas, but it's fun to throw them out there to share...

For baring one's teeth: stiir

It's connected with the embodied action of actually baring your teeth (you can say it if you bare your teeth and starts as a kind of hiss) and the r sound at the end is like a growl that might accompany such an action.

Not too late at all! There's still discussion going on, so I think the Jarl will give you all some for time for tinvaakZel sounds great. Lein is the dragon's own word for Mundus, so maybe something from that?

Speak for yourself. My eyes look like... Like the nightmare of every 6 AM riser and the usual for a 6 AM just went to sleep guy.

P.S.: Of course this doesn't mean we should stop. GEtting all the words straight should be top priority, and what if the most amazing word is gonna come in a minute and a half?

For a kalpa, maybe Lien? It is just switching the places of letters, but it should do the job.

To bestow knowledge of the Thu'um to another might be minfaan, which starts with knowledge, mindah, and give, ofan.  (I'm trying to take off existing words while not being too literal or uncreative, or the words end up being five syllables long and hard to pronounce..)

Do you think that the written orthography would happen before speaking, though?  What about switching the consonants instead?  That would make Neil instead of Lein.  'Neilaas' (based on life 'laas') is to survive, but I don't think there's any root 'neil' yet.

Neil IS better.

Similar to mine (Miindahqaat), and that's basically what I did too, but cool =)

I like that. It rolls off the tongue nicely as well, and someone had mentioned earlier about not having too many syllables in the words.  I love the word play.

=D This is brilliant!  I think it captures the essence of the action really well.
