Also, for an event that took place in the past, what about u'um?  Thu'um is a way of speaking things into being, and su'um is the breath that exists in things that are, but the past in Dovahzul is just kind of assumed or discovered from context.  U'um could undlie all of this.

This is a combination of parts of the words for Gift (Ofanaat), Knowledge (Mindah), and Birthright (Kindahqaar). Because only the true Dovah or Dovahkiin can Thu'um, it will inevitably be the birthright of these beings to Thu'um, so the transfer of knowledge of the Thu'um to another is in truth the bestowing of a Dovah or Dovahkiin's birthright, and destiny, in life.

What about modifying that to ru'ul to create the analogy with mu'ul 'to rule'?  What was your original intention behind ru'uu?

I also think you should add the l, but just because all u'u words have another letter at the end. There is not a single word that ends with u'u. That is almost a rule.

Also, if you guys like the past event as u'um, what about dezu'um for an inevitable event that will take place in the future?  It uses dez as 'fate' and extends the u'um, su'um, thu'um, dezu'um continuum.

I think it should have a letter at the beggining for the past, like usu'um, from ustiid-past.

Lokrein sounds good! So does ru'ul. I'm not sure how "a past event" would connect to su'um and thu'um, though. I think it'd be safest to leave the hypothetical roots of those words alone.
