Denos means decline so maybe FusDenos force decline for to put down or fuswahdenos force to decline you can change it to make it sound more dragonic Fuswaahdeinoss or fusdeinos

"if anyone provokes me i wont hesitate to Fusdenos"

"rok wiif zey ful zu'u lost fuswahdeinos."

For 'to bare teeth' perhaps something like faasniif or 'fear-smile'. I'm trying not to be too literal, not sure if it's working. My first attempt.

For the resign, accept one's fates perhaps dinokstrin, 'death-seal'.

Strin being 'seal' and resign as a word in English comes from 're-' meaning back and 'singare' meaning seal or sign. Dinok is obviously death. Or perhaps daanstrin which is 'doom-seal'.

Faasniif is a good start! Imagine, though, that there was no word for "smile," since that's not something dragons do. What if their word for "smile" was "joy-{word}," "to bear one's teeth in joy"?

I think fusdenos is too literal as well. Something derived from denos could work, though personally I think mahviing, or kren might be better choices. This is a violent word. Denos is more gradual.

Good point on the 'smile'. Perhaps faasahniif which is 'fear-sneer' or if the rhyme is too much, faasraal, 'fear-snarl/growl'. If it is to be taken as a negative baring of teeth. Can't think of one for positive. Perhaps jiikraal, or 'joy-snarl/growl'.

I think faasjiik is good. Fear-joy. And it literaly makes you smile. Like cheese.

I think it was a combination of lord and weak, drog and sahlo, but the other way around into sahrog.

@Faasraal, I like it! But perhaps faas could be removed, and the connotation of fear and intimidation is simply part of the word. For example, maybe the word is ahraal, from raal "to snarl," and then "smile" is jiikahraal "to bear one's teeth in joy."

@sahrog, maybe extend this to sahdrog? Then it would actually mean "phantom lord." As in, someone who's a lord, but only by illusion. They lack any true power or leadership.

Oh sorry, my mistake. I misunderstood/misread what you put.

I like the term phantom lord. It fits.

Phantom lord. That sounds so awesome. But that could mean more than just a weak king, it could mean someone who rules from the shadows (Like Maven Black-Briar). Unless there is already a word for that, I think sahdrog is good for the role. But I should get back to the bounty.
