In skyrim lasers exist- however they are only utilised by daedra and there isn't any exact lasers. I think it may not always be modern (a laser is any form of focused light beam) |

"Modern" words also include words that, for various subjective reasons, would not be found naturally in the dragon language as it exists in Skyrim. While newspapers, lasers, and pudding may exist in some form, they are not things that the dragons of Skyrim would have come in contact with. The same thing goes for many scientific, mathematical, or grammatical terms. These sorts of words don't fit into the dragons' natural vocabulary, and thus fall under "modern." |
