Hmm...interesting. I should be writing this down...but he's such a cute creature. Kayla smiled to herself, but the expedition leader's shout stirred her from her thoughts. She looked over at him and saw the body. It's too late for him. Not even the best healers can reverse death. Kayla sent the thought to him, and went back to watching Kaldmit's behavior. She whistled for him to come over.

Dreyon received Kayla’s thought, and said, “Ni. Ni, ni, til fen kos osos lah wah aak rok.” Small tears came to his eyes. He didn’t really know Tar-Wulm, but at the same time, he had never lost an expedition member before due to a draugr. The only time was when a ruin collapsed, with him inside. That is the only time in Dreyon’s life that he could recall where he almost died. He said a silent prayer to Almalexia, then got up and walked into the darker part of the hallway. There were numerous bows laying on the ground, and a war-axe was gripped in the hand of a dead draugr. Dreyon ripped it from his hands, and swung it a few times. “Mu fen bo nau. Mu nis bo nu,” Dreyon instructed the others. “Mu fen fent krif, lahvraan zun.” He took a piece of wood and asked Kaldmit to lite it. Then he went back to the hallway to survey it. He saw two doors. He went back to the group and said, “Venu los veyaan.” They went to the dark part of the hallway. He indicated one of the doors. He and Grohild were to go that way. Kayla and Kaldmit were to go to the door at the other end of the hallway. Dreyon helped Grohild to the door. Opening it revealed two chests and a cracked stone table. Upon the table was two healing potions and a steel dagger. Dreyon opened one of the chests, and found inside a hide shield, a silver ring with an amethyst in the band, with a strange orange glow. In the other, Grohild found iron gauntlets and two potions of stamina. All was taken from the room, and they went to the closest closed door to wait.

Kaldmit lit the piece of wood and walked over to Kayla. By now he was a dragon about as tall as Kayla. He walked to the door and pushed it open, as he did he saw the glimmer of metal and candlelight. |

Kayla took Kaldmit by the hand, and followed him. She raised her left hand, and a small ball of magic fire was in the palm. I'm ready in case something comes at us. Also, I'd like to get to know you better. If we get a chance, let's go to Falkreath and get a room. But for talk you know? She kept this between her and Kaldmit. |

Dreyon was getting tired of waiting, and opened the miiraad. It revealed a long room, with two miiraadde on the sides of the room. It was faintly lit, and had a lot of dirt and plants scattered upon the ground and walls. Broken urn fragments were strewn about the golt. Dreyon didn’t see any sarcophagi, but that didn’t mean there weren’t draugr nearby. He motioned for the Grohild to follow, quietly, and prepared his hahkun. He put on the ring, and slung his spaan on his arm. He crept forward, the only noise being made was the crunch of the dirt under his boots, and stopped suddenly. He heard a strange breathing, like a... Skeever. Dreyon had seen them, and the diseases they could spread were fatal. He put his sinaak to his mouth to indicate silence. He moved along the walls, until he saw its shadow in the kun of the next room, and he stopped. |

OED Kaldmit February 27, 2018 |
Kaldmit heard the breathing and followed it to the sorce. He saw Dreyon put his finger to his mouth and Kaldmit climbed a wall and hung on the ceiling. He spread his wings and hung by his tail and grabed the skeever. He then looked at Dreyon and smiled. Kaldmit then wraped his wings around himself and the skeever and started eating the skeever. |

Kayla tossed the magic between her hands. She was scanning the room for any threats, and looked up to see what Kaldmit was doing. She blinked, and then tossed a small fireball in his direction. She had enough control of it to make sure it stayed harmless. Then she replaced the flames in her hands with magelight. |

Dreyon saw Kaldmit grab and eat the skeever, and was caught in between a feeling of horror and relief. He was relieved it was dead, and horrified by the fact that Kaldmit would eat such a repulsive, disease-ridden beast. He moved into the next room, and saw another rune story on the opposite wall. He moved as quickly as possible, while being quiet as well, and removed his notebook from his back pocket, putting his war-axe in his belt-loop. He began furiously translating the story, and came out in the end with: “Rok lost wahl fin kinbok do daar qoth, ahrk lost kogaan naal aan dovah. Fin dovah kogaan rok voth lot suleyk. Fin suleyk lost kod fah fin folaas fin, ahrk rok lost dur voth diil. Rok nu lo ko fin qoth do daar golt.” This story wasn’t as frightening as the last, but it still worried Dreyon. He put his notebook away, turned around, and saw three coffin lids crash to the ground. Three draugr stepped out, and drew their weapons, and charged at Dreyon. He held his shield in front of an incoming attack, and deflected the blow while being staggered in the process. He dodged another attack, and swung his war-axe, slicing through a draugrs arm. It dropped the sword it was holding, and ran into a corner. The other two walked slowly towards him, weapons ready. He held his shield, and backed up till he couldn’t back up anymore. He swung the shield, striking a draugr in the jaw. Then the other draugr smacked him in the back with it’s shield. Dreyon fell to the floor, slightly dazed. He looked back at the draugr, the one he hit with the shield recovering, and the other preparing to attack. Dreyon slashed at the draugr in the leg, and it dropped to one knee. The other was now standing, but it had lost its weapon. The draugr on a knee swung upward, barely missing and embedding the sword in the hide shield. Dreyon raised his axe, and brought it down into the draugr’s head, with swift force. The draugr was dead, and Dreyon chased the other draugr. He caught it at the door, grabbing its shoulder, and decapitating it. The draugr in the corner still cowered, and Dreyon swung his axe back and forth, over and over again, until the draugr lay in a bloody, crumpled mess. Dreyon exited the room, his robes covered in blood, and stood before them, allowing the adrenaline to wear off. |

Kaldmit finished eating the skeever and dropped the clean skeleton on the floor and bleched. He saw the fireball coming and ate it. Kaldmit then dropped from the ceiling and shook off the dust. He licked the blood from his teeth and walked up behind Dreyon. "Krah. Drey hi train fah daar?" he asked while sitting down next to Dreyon and swishing his tail. |

Kayla was too far behind the rest of the group and had to run to catch up with them. She was breathing heavily when she found the room they were in, and wasn't watching where she was going, and ended up tripping over Kaldmit. Normally, this wouldn't have been much of a nuciance, but this time, Kayla tripped and almost landed in a bear trap. Well then...that would not have been pretty. She kept this thought to herself, and then turned over while still on top of Kaldmit. She looked into his eyes, and smiled apoligeticly. Sorry about that, Kaldy. You don't mind if I call you Kaldy right? She kept these between her and Kaldmit. She was fixing her bag as she thought this, her legs still on Kaldmit's back. |

“Ni. Zu’u dreh nid.” Dreyon replied to Kaldmit. It was apparent that he was changing, he looked like a dovah now. Dreyon figured that the next few rooms contained draugr, so they should move on instead of risking getting killed. “Mu fod bo.” He announced to the group. He left the room, back to the hallway, and through the miiraad next to the treasure room Dreyon and Grohild looted. It lead into a large room, there was a blood-stained table in the center, and four sarcophagi around the walls. Dreyon prepared for battle. |

Kaldmit turned his head and looked at Kayla. He smiled and said "Ni, zu'u ni hahdrim." He then helped Kayla up and followed Dreyon. Kaldmit saw Dreyon prepare for battle and jumped onto the ceiling again, digging his claws in to stay there. He then sniffed the air and sneezed because of the dust in the air. |

Kayla was happy that Kaldmit didn't mind the nickname. She was in much higher spirits. As she entered the next room, she saw the group prepare for something. So, she skipped to the nearest sarcophagas and knocked on it. She turned around and shrugged. I'm unsure about this, do we really need to worry? She allowed everyone in the room to hear her thoughts. She was smiling when she sent the thought out, her magical fire now playing with the shadows on her face. |

When Kayla knocked on the coffin, rage built up inside Dreyon, almost to the point where he wanted to scream and kill something. But then the coffin lid fell, and something unexpected happened. A body fell out, not draugr, but it looked like a humanoid fox. Dreyon was confused, why was a fox-human in a coffin in a Nordic Ruin? No matter, there was still the problem of the other coffins. Dreyon walked across the room to the door, which was sealed behind a gate. There was a strange glowing orb above the doorway. “Kayla, fen hi kod osos lah wah bex daar?” Dreyon asked Kayla. |
