Kyron saw Dreyon fall, "Aurkosh, spaan zu'u." Kyron quickly summoned a bow from the air, and took to the ledges above. Here he would lie in wait, the others were on their way.

Kaldmit heard the sound of electricity and turned just in time to see Dreyon die. He charged at the Deathlord with a roar of anger and he changed to his Oblivion form. The Deathlord saw Kaldmit coming and shot lightning at him and Kaldmit just got more angry. Eventually, the Deathlord ended up sliding down Kaldmit's throat.

When Kaldmit charged at the deathlord, Kayla was knocked to the floor. She heard the expedition leader's sheild break and the impact of a sword and flesh. She got up to see Kaldmit swallow the draugr, but the Lilmothiit was gone from sight. Kayla scanned the entire room when she saw the glint of an arrow in the firelight from up on the rafters. Kayla drew her own bow, knocked an arrow, and slunk to the doorway, all the while keeping her eyes trained on that arrowhead. If those assassins had followed her in here, who knew what would happen to Kaldmit. Maybe he was what Ky'zyal was talking about. Whatever it was, Kayla's instinct was to protect Kaldmit with her life, and pay the price, should the need arise.

Once the Deathlord was dead, Kyron climbed down from the ledge above. He ran over to Dreyon and searched for some possesion to return to his family. In his cloak, Kyron found a journal with Dovahzul runes on it. Opening the journal, he walked over to the word wall. Using the journal, he translated the word. "Nii los "Lah", "Qo", ahrk "Al". Uv "Magika, Lighting, ahrk Destroy." "

He closed the journal and stowed it in his cloak.

Kaldmit changed back to all black and shook his head, making his mane flop around. He looked around and saw a door ahead and started walking toward it. He changed back to Argonian form and he was reaching for the door handle when he felt an arrow peirce his back and he grunted in pain and passed out shortly afterward.

When Kryon jumped down, the arrow glint jumped with him. Kayla then put her own bow and arrow away, and looked at Kaldmit, just as he fell. Her eyes shot wide open, and she rushed over to him. The arrow protruding out of his back was a terrible sign that something hostile was near. Kayla looked the arrow over again, and noticed how old it appeared. She looked to where it possibly had come from. She scanned the darkness, and saw another glint of an arrow. She reated quickly by drawing her bow, and firing it straight to the glint. It impacted deep, and a draugr stubmled forward, bringing the arrow glint with him. Kayla quickly loaded a second arrow, and fired it into the draugr's skull. The arrow was one of her own creation. It had a steel head, but it was tipped with ebony. The arrow went straight through the draugr's skull, and emmbedded itself into the stone. The draugr collapsed, and Kayla dropped her bow, tending to Kaldmit immediately. Please be okay...please....

Kyron turned around to see Kaldmit fall to the ground, "Oo nid." He quickly ran over, healing spell at ready. He pulled the arrow from his back and tried to heal him. "Ruth! Voth daar Oht, zu'u nis vahraan rok."

Kaldmit roared in pain as the arrow was ripped from his back. He quickly changed back to dragon form while staying the same size and clamped down around Kyron's neck with his teeth. As he did this, there was a purple glow in his throat and showing from the inside on his underbelly and he growled.

No! Kaldmit! Kayla had tears running down her cheeks. She slapped Kaldmit's nose to gain his attention. You listen to me, right now! Let him go, and stop it! Kayla sent the thought straight to Kaldmit, angry with him, but devastated at the same time.

Kyron felt the jaws close around him and moved quickly. He used a shock spell on the inside of Kaldmit's maw. Once he was released, he quickly climbed to the ledges above. "Kaldmit, hin su sahlon volzah," he said.

Kaldmit's eyes opened wide as the inside of his mouth was being electricuted. He released Kyron and looked at Kayla. He heard the thought in his head and he layed down with his ears flat and looked up at Kayla with puppy eyes. "Zu'u krosis."

Kayla looked into Kaldmit's dark eyes and saw remorse. She knew that Kaldmit needed her help, and she intended to help him. It's alright. I'm not mad anymore. She then took him by the bootom of his jaw, and set his forehead. against hers. She held him there for a few seconds, and then released him. She stood up, and looked at where Kryon had gone. You can come down now. He's calm. She looked at Kaldmit. You're safe.... She smiled slightly, and collapsed from exhastion.

Kyron climbed down from the ledges. Looking around, he saw a noticed a intention in the wall. A secret door perhaps? "Kayla, Kaldmit, nau het."

Kaldmit got up and walked over to Kyron. He looked at the indention and looked around for a lever or pull chain.

Kayla coouldn't exaclty do much, being that she had fallen asleep. The stony ground wasn't exactly the best place for sleep, but Kayla used it anyway. She was too exhausted to care.
