The Aldmeri Doninion had flourished after the signing of the White-Gold Concordat. They had an intellectual and cultural golden age in the years following. While the Empire was wasting resources at the hands of Ulfric Stormcloak, the Dominion grew ever stronger. When the Empire was pushed out of Skyrim in the year of 201 4E, the Thalmor sped up their preparations.
First, an army of Justiciars stormed Sky Haven Temple. None escaped, and so, the Blades were no more. Next, Titus Mede II was assasinated. The Dragonborn disappeared. Then, they came.
In a wave of Mer, the Thalmor legions swept through Anvil in a surprise assault. By the time the Imperial City got word of the attack, Kvatch was in ashes. And this is where YOU come in. A call to arms was sent to all corners of Tamriel, a desperate cry for help. It was ignored by King Ulfric Stormcloak of Skyrim.
Will YOU sit still while the Empire falls, wait until the Dominion is at your city walls, crying for your blood? Or will you take a stand, fight for your freedom and your family's lives? Will you take up arms, to stand victorious or to die with honor?
