It is true that the internet is the result of a long evolutionary process that started more than 30 years ago. Back then, the ideas of data transmission existed and what is a router was in the minds of those who were then involved in the development of networking technologies. The progressive ideas of that time laid the groundwork for the future development of the internet, and despite the incremental nature of technological development, the router concept was part of that exciting journey. |
