Hey folks! I'm in the market for a new extension cord for my RV, and I'm wondering if there are any significant differences between the various options out there. Anyone have any insights?
RV extension cords diffrences

I've been through a few RV extension cords myself. One key thing to consider is the length. Depending on where you camp, you might need a longer cord to reach the power source. Also, make sure it's rated for outdoor use and has a sturdy construction to withstand different weather conditions. |

Length matters, and it's better to have a longer cord than to come up short. Another thing to look out for is the amp rating. Make sure it matches the requirements of your RV. Using an extension cord with a lower amp rating than your RV needs could lead to overheating and potential damage. I have recently bought 50 amp generator extension cord and you know it seems that this is my option for sure. Overall you need to just make sure to get a cord that's compatible with your RV's electrical system. Some RVs have 30-amp systems, while others have 50-amp. Make sure to match the cord to your RV's requirements. |
