The left side or full moon chart is to be used on a full moon and the right side or new moon chart is to be used on a full moon. You need a six sided die and the ability to interpret the words or omens that correspond with the number rolled. Everyone interprets things differently most of the words are meant to be vague so they can be interpreted how you see fit.
