Having Trouble with Avatar Image Links. I've tried 2 sites to host my image, http://imgur.com and http://postimage.org , but neither one is accepted by the uploader. Is there a different service I am unaware of and should use instead?

While I do not need my avatar, I am one to prefer it be there.

I have the same issue as you are, but you seemed to have figured it out. Would you object to giving assistance to a n00b like me?

I figured it out.  You add .png or whatever file you're using at the end of the address.

I've known that images won't work unless you add the file type at the end.

I haven't figured out this anomaly yet, but I would like to advise you to use .JPG files instead of .PNG 

JPG files take a lot less of your computer's memory, but the consequence is that JPG files do not save transparency like PNG files do.
