(( You're talking about as an individual, and the fact that Space Marines ALWAYS take credit. Imperial Guardsmen/Guardswomen aren't made for fighting alone, they are trained and equipped to fight in numbers, as a single unit. To wield an extreme amount of firepower against their foes before charging in and finishing off the stragglers. Its the way they do things, have always done things. Space Marines are elite warriors made to be able to use a small amount of extremely skilled soldiers to do maximum damage at the enemy army's weakpoints. The Imperial Guard are the Emperor's Hammer, while the Space Marine's are His Sword. Both are useful at what they do, but suck at anything else. ))

(The Guardsmen have the most casualties ever. They were trained to die. Essentially they are meat shields for the superiors. Space Marines and other more useful soldiers.)

Galariel continued to fight. They seemed to be endless. More and more Necrons. More and more Draugr. And less and less of those of Order. Perhaps this was to be his last battle. The future has many possibilities. That is just one.

Seeing the hopeless situation, he deems it necessary to find Galariel in the chaos of the fighting, ordering the last of his men, only five in all, to make a tactical retreat. Gideon runs his bayonet through the back of a draugr behind the Farseer, kicking it off before bashing another in its deformed face, knocking it over before he jumps on top of it and begins a relentless assault with the butt of his lasgun. He continues to cave its skull in with blow after furious blow for the next few seconds, before another draugr lashes at him with one of their swords, breaking the skin underneath the armor to cause some superficial damage to him, but nothing more.

As the draugr prepares another overhead strike, he spins around and kicks the thing's legs out from underneath it, unloading a few shots into its chest before unclipping a krak grenade, tossing it at a Necron warrior. It detonates, the armor-piercing abilities of the grenade rending it apart far too much for it to get back up, but the Lieutenant fires a few more times into its head, just to be safe.

Now that he has some breathing room, he calls over the Galariel.

"Farseer, we have incoming air support, but we need to fall back! Now!"

Galariel muttered to himself. 'So, the humans do have some intellect.'

He runs over to Gideon. 'Hellsmasha! Over here!'

(( ill sho u dumb foo *grabs pistol, holding it like a stereotypical thug, before pulling the trigger and getting my nose broken from the kickback, the bullet going WAY off target from the inaccurate way of holding said pistol* ))

(Ok so where do I start)

Overhead, Imperial bombers begin to destroy nearby Necron vehicles, meeting sporadic anti-air fire. The explosions from the sheer size and amount of explosions from the bombing runs cast off huge shockwaves, felt all the way over here. Among the rear bulk of the enemy forces they are fighting, several explosions from Hellstrike missiles are seen and heard, followed by several bursts of autocannon fire. Twelve Lightning fighters are then seen screaming overhead, ten of them splitting off to hunt down an incoming squadron of Necron Night Shroud bombers while the other two quickly come about, making another pass with their autocannons on the Necron/Draugr infantry on the surface.

Gideon looks on for a moment, before snapping his gaze towards Galariel.

"Now's our chance, Farseer. We need to pull back, now!"

(Well if you don't mind imma make my entrance then go too bed)

Foameye, a powerful daemon prince of khorne, was with his battalion of 6 Daemon princes when the necrons and draugr attacked, the 7 of them used brute strenght to kill them, hacking and slashing at them, decapetating Draugr after Draugr, Necron after Necron. Too them this was an easy fight but unexpected. "YOU WORTHLESS WEAKLINGS! Death is what awaits your stupidity!" yelled Foameye as he cut off the heads of 4 necrons in one swoop of his axe, the other 6 Daemon Princes were completely annhiliating the rest of the Draugr and Necrons

(it doesn't hurt to be evil 😈)

Gideon's eyes widen behind his mask as the seven large daemons appear on the battlefield. Thank the Emperor they weren't over here... Yet.

"Farseer! D-daemons!" He points out the rather ugly creatures for Galariel to see.
