Galariel almost fell down as the Craftworld was hit by a barrage of pods. Necrons and Mechanical Draugr leaped out, slaughtering innocent Eldar. The Draugr yelled in a strange language, 'Aaz Paak Dinok!' He drew his Witch Blade and cut through the ranks. After slaying about six, he sheathed his sword, drawing his Shuriken Pistol in his right hand. In the other he tossed Eldritch Storm. The bolts of psychic energy turned the Draugr and Necrons to ash. Galariel sent a message to Gideon, 'We need the Imperium! The Craftworld is under attack. The Necrons are turning the innocent civilians to some sort of mechanical slave. Do you have anyone to spare?' |

(( Idk why yer messaging Gideon, he's not the one in charge, but meh :P )) As the Valkyrie dropship he is riding in makes a fast approach to the surface, passing by the slower and bulkier Devourer transports with various Imperial fighters and bombers providing the beluegered Eldar forces with much needed air support, Gideon smirks when a familiar voice enters his mind. He quickly replies to the Farseer in his mind, knowing that he does not need to be a psyker for Galariel to hear him. (Did I spell that right? :P ) Hold fast, Farseer. Battlefleet Gothic is already in orbit, and ground forces are being deployed as we speak. |

Above the Eldar forces, a squadron of about twenty or so Marauder bombers fly by, thousands of feet overhead. They circle the battlefield for a moment, before they dive down to a mere 1,000 feet from the surface, dropping 2,000 kilograms of bombs from the remaining fourteen bombers, the other six were destroyed before they had a chance to drop their payload. Not too far away on the ground, the first of the Imperial transports land, dispatching their load of Guardsmen and tanks, many being destroyed almost as soon as they are on the ground while the rest are able to get their barings and return fire upon the Necrons. |

Galariel ran out of Shurikens, and left the Pistol hanging on his hip. Charging up a large Eldritch Storm and releasing it. The large Bolt erupted into multiple, smaller bolts of yellow electricity. The Draugr seemed to be susceptible to this Ability. Well, any form of heat would easily kill them, though cold metal was a little more difficult to use against them. |

Gideon's Valkyrie begins to approach the Farseer's position. He and his brothers and sisters-in-arms all stand when a red light switches on, adjusting their armor as needed and powering their weapons and HUDs up. These were fellow Cadians, like Gideon. All of them were equipped with frag and krak grenades, self-superheated bayonets, and their standard lasguns and laspistols, along with carapace armor. Some of the soldiers shuffle in place, others forming contests of who can get the most kills, and many more praying to the Emperor for protection. Gideon, however, is stoic as a soldier of the Imperium must be. Unwavering against the darkness that are the enemies of Man. His jaw is firmly set, the two 'eyes' of his mask glowing read, giving him an inhuman appearance. The light then turns green, before the rear hatch opens, revealing the hellish landscape that is the battlefield. They charge out, in spite of the gauss fire from the Necrons and Draugr, the explosions barely making them flinch as they rush forward. Gideon, however, is also looking around for Galariel, his personal objective being to link up with the Farseer and coordinate the Allied forces with him. |

After hours of fighting the Necrons retreated. Galariel found Gideon. 'Good to see you.' He extended his arm, expecting Gideon to shake his hand by the forearm. |

When he finds the Cadian, he is putting down a Draugr with a shot to the head, the body twitching slightly even after death before its death convulses stop. He ejects his spent cartridge, replacing it with a fresh one before he turns to face Galariel. He slings his lasgun, accepting the shake with a nod of his head, his still inhuman mask covering his face, his carapace carrying a few dents from shrapnel and melee combat, as well as a few scorch marks from near-misses from Necron gauss weapons. "Greetings, Farseer Galariel. How fares the Craftworld, other than this battlefield." |
