He looks back to the fort for a moment. "Don't look back, keep going!" As they ride forward to Alinor, the secretive magical traps all over the fort suddenly erupt, creating a new miniature sun and flattening the surrounding forest for approximately 200 meters. Thousands of Imperials were incinerated in the sacrifice. |

Qorian slows his horse down, before his eyes slowly drift closed and he slumps forward, falling off of his horse with blood pooling around him from his torso, a fist-sized whole in the left side of his stomach from a musket round. |
