As the high-seas pursuit continues, Summerset Isle becomes noticeably large as more sail is released. In the distance, off the starboard side, about five figures are seen. They are Aldmeri cutters, fast interceptor ships with a light armament, they quickly close in with the frigates. What the Imperials lack in speed, they make up for in firepower, as the cutters are doing everything they can to not get in the line of fire from the frigate guns. One is too slow, and is rapidly torn apart by a broadside, while two cutters attack the leftmost cruiser, one that was already damaged by firebarrels and a shot of mortar fire. It soon sinks, but two more cutters are heavily damaged when they find themselves caught between the remaining frigates. By now, an altmer Man o' War, a monster of a ship with three decks below the top filled with more than 44 different guns, begins to launch long-range bombardments on the two remaining frigates.

The two frigates are damaged, one's sails being mostly destroyed as the two undamaged cutters run along its sides and fire a broadside, sending it to its grave with an explosion as its ammunition storage is detonated. The final frigate turns about to retreat, its final raking broadside destroying one of the two damaged cutters as its ammunition storage erupts as well, making the small ship leap in the air slightly as it is split in half from the detonation. The remaining undamaged cutters escort the pirate ship to shore, while the undamaged one goes to a drydock for repairs, the Man o' War remaining behind to continue its patrol as the Imperial frigate slowly gets smaller in the distance. One of the pirates walks over to her, heaving a sigh as they finally dock. ( Yeah, fighting is over :P ) "You mean you haven't heard of the First Cyrodillic Order? They killed most of the Altmer in Tamriel, and destroyed the Thalmor and Empire. All that's left is the Dominion here, in Summerset Island. Those were frigates of the First Order, wanting to kill us for... somereason, I don't know." (Assumedly to find the Immortals and kill them.) |
