Hello Thuum.org, I'm new.

Hi, my name is Blackbeard, and I'm new to this website and the dragon language. Of course, I have a lot of questions, and I'm hoping you guys can answer them. I hope you guys can guide me towards speaking the dragon language. I'll be online every once in awhile.

So, for my first question. In the exersizes section of the Alphabet and Pronunciation Lessons, I don't exactly understand excersize #3. Can someone explain it to me?

The first part of the excercise asks you to write a string of dragon runes. The string should be such that, when read out loud using dragon language pronunciation rules, it sounds like your given name does in your first language. Below are examples; lowercase letter pairs denote a single rune each.

Michael -> MeiKEL
James -> JeyMZ
Andrew -> ENDRuu
Richard -> RITSHaaRD
Megan -> MeyGEN
Rachel -> ReyTSHEL
Angela -> ENJELA
Stacy -> STeySii

The second part asks you to take your given name again, but this time you should simply replace each Latin letter with the rune that directly corresponds to that letter in the dragon alphabet. If your name has C's, replace them with K's or S's. Then you should read this string out loud as if it was a dragon word.
