Wutharth

Wuth is Old in dovahzul. What is arth? Is there arth? If so, why a dovahzul name? Was he supposed to be a Dovah Sonaak? If not, why does half his name have a dovahzul translation?

Nordic names tend to sound an awful lot like dragon words, which creates some unfortunate confusion. Here are a few Nordic ruin names for example: Ansilvund, Folgunthur, Forelhost, and Volskygge. Are these names Nordic or dragon? Dragon and Nordic culture were so intertwined that it's possible these names could be a product of both languages.

Is it possible the "wuth" in "Wutharth" is the dragon word wuth? Certainly. However, "arth" isn't a known dragon word and would be rather atypical for the language if it was, so "Wutharth" as a whole is probably of Nordic origin.
