Nord translation confusion

An app of mine says Nord is Bron in dovahzul and derived from Brom, north. But the wiki says nords are also called sons of snow. It says it is Kul Do Od. But my lessons tell me that would be Kulseod. They can also be called sky-children. Which is Lok Kiir. Can you help me?

The most basic word is 'bron'. "Kul do od" and 'lok-kiir' are descriptive phrases suitable for poetry, but should not be mistaken for actual synonyms.

One of the most known use of "Kul do od" is the one in the Song of Skyrim obvioulsy, that's why you end up with this result.

"Huzrah nu, kul do od, wah aan bok lingrah vod
Ahrk fin tey, boziik fun, do fin gein!"
