Nafaalilargus

http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Nafaalilargus

What does this name mean? It's from the redguard game and is before the language of Dovahzul had set rules for names and words I think. Given how none of his quotes from the wiki contain any trace of the language I'd bet that there definitly wasn't any language at all.

The first bit (Na) I Imagine is a shortened form Nah

The second bit is either Faal or Fahliil (as I imagine it'd be pronounced)

That leaves either "argus" or "ilargus" which mean nothing, and even then the first half of the translation isn't even set in stone for it's meaning.

As I am still fairly new to this language and only know about 50 words or so, maybe somebody who actually knows all the cannonical language will be better suited to this.

Nafaalilargus is almost certainly a corruption of the draconic name Nahfahlaar. This is supported by the Atlas of Dragons, a book in Skyrim. Unfortunately this clue falls short of a complete solution because 'fahl' and 'laar' are unknown words.

I've been investigating this recently and it seems as though the only probable correct name for the dragon is Nah-Fahl-Aar with Fahl meaning something along the lines of "Garden".
