May I make a query?

I can read and write in Futhark which, in some sense is similar to Dovah, however, is the alphabet on this site only canon, or is it also semi- to non-canon?
I ask because I find that I am having trouble with the extra minute details for each sound, where in Futhark, sounds are simplified. For example, instead of having a different rune for the sound of (ee) as in the word CLEAN or the sound (e) as in the word ENTER, one rune would use the same rune once or twice. The letters within the Futhark runes are as follows:

A- B- C- D- E- F- G- H- I- J- L- M- N- O- P- R- S- T- U- W- Z- Th- and NG-

I is used for the ending "Y" sound, and both short and long "I" sounds, where J- is used for the beginning or mid "Y" sound and a standard "J" sound such as in the word Fjord. F- replaces V-.

I suppose I am simply confused on the complexity of the runes within the Dovah alphabet.

Help?

Regards,

Nieriel.

1. The alphabet of Thuum.org is canon except for punctuation marks and numbers.

2. Dovahzul runes only depart from their default phonemic values in the digraphs AH, EI, EY, NG, SH, TH. IPA pronunciations are included in the dictionary pages.

Mayhaps if I run Dovah againstt Futhark.... It will have to be studied further.

Thank you for the input.

Dovahzul is completely original, there's no visible derivation. The language has derivations, though the runes don't.
