100% Complete?

Hi!

I'm new here and new to the Dovahzul language. I have a quick question.
Can you have a normal conversation in Dovahzul with a friend? Or how much is missing?
Is the language 100% complete?

Don't get me wrong, I still intend on learning the language. And I'm really looking forward to learning Dovahzul.

Kind Regards

That depends on your definition of "100% complete". If you're asking if the language has a translation for every English word ever, then no.
The language is, however, greatly expanded and contains an immense plethora of words to be able to communicate with without any difficulties. The chances of an essential word to not be created yet is very slim. The words that are missing are mostly ones that are of objects or aspects of life outside the dimension of The Elder Scrolls, and are not applicable in any way to dragon communication.

Id like to add something.

Technically no language is ever 100% complete. Languages evolve, change, invent new words, drop old words, change grammar.

Some languages have words and expressions that other languages do not have. Dovahzul is to some extend further evolved than english as it has ways of telling things that english has not.

Having said that, english is not 100% complete either - english lacks words and expressions that are found as example in german or icelandic. It dropped most of its grammar 300 years ago - does that mean english became less complete after that?

Dovahzul is complete enough to have fluent conversation on most topics - id say that is complete enough for a language

i wouldn't say it is a 100% complete b/c people still send new words to be added to the dictionary
