What's the source of the canon words/translations?

I'm interested in learning dovahzul and I'm starting to learn on memrise, one thing I've been wondering is what the source is for the pretty incredible amount of 632 canon words, where did the community get the words from & translations?

Are there any books in the game that provide words with translations? Or is it all taken from many dialogue?
