Thu'um Pronounciation

Is "thu'um" pronounced "thOOM" or "thOO-um"? The former is used most often in the game (Balgruuf says it like that and I think Arngeir does too), but the latter is more consistent with other words (for example, tamed dragons pronounce "zu'u" as "zoo-oo").

Both pronunciations are correct. The two-syllable pronunciation is more formal and "by the book," while the one-syllable pronunciation is arguably more common, and a bit more conversational. This is true for all "u'u" words, such as thu'um and zu'u.

I pronounce it "Thoom" but I pronounce Zu'u Zoo-oo.

January 16, 2015 		Actually Thu'um is pronounced many ways, 3 most popular are thoom, seen in conversation, thoo-um, seen sometimes in writing and same with thoo-oom, the more rare of the bunch. So both versions are correct, but it depends on the context
