Did the actual reply vanish, or did the arrows vanish? If the first, that's a problem because it shouldn't be doing that.

The up and down arrows are used to mark answers that are correct, or answers that are either incorrect or unrelated to the question. This helps correct answers appear at the top of the post.

It didn't vanish. The highest rated posts get bumped.
