Thuum

I know this is an unorthodox question, and it's unlikely I'll be answered, but what happened on this site? It looks like it's been near dead since 2019, save a few questions and forum posts. It doesn't send emails, no new accounts can be created, spam messages are filling up the question areas, and so on. What happened, and is there a way to fix it? I really love the idea of this site, and it is a great place. I just want to know what can be done to help it.

More and more people just stopped being interested in dovahzul I guess, and the last members ended up leaving the site as well since there was no longer any community, so now it's just an "unsupervised" ruin, which is sad indeed :/

Possible Reasons for Decline
Lack of Maintenance: If the site has not been regularly updated or maintained, it may lead to technical issues, including problems with account creation and email notifications.
Spam Management: Many online platforms struggle with spam, especially if they lack effective moderation tools. Without active moderation, spam can overwhelm legitimate content.
Community Engagement: If the community is not actively engaged or if users feel their contributions aren't valued, they may stop participating. This can lead to a decline in new content and interaction.
Technical Issues: Bugs or server issues can deter users from returning. If users experience frequent problems, they are less likely to engage with the site.
