Translation for "uphold"

I have tried looking through all 66 pages, and I didn't find any answer to this question. I apologize if I did miss it.

I am trying to translate "upholds" from "might upholds the weak". In this context it can mean support or bear however neither is in the dictionary, nor hold up.

I would use either the concept of "champion" or "mercy" to reword that. "Uphold" means "give support to".

"Champion" ->  "Might is the champion of the weak". Translation would be "Suleyk los kaal do fin sahlo" or "Suleyk kaal do fin sahlo".

"Mercy" -> "Might brings/gives mercy to the weak". "Suleyk drun/ofan aaz wah fin sahlo".
