Translation

how do you write valkyrie in the dragon language?

April 5, 2020 		Do you want to translate it or transcribe it ? In any case, these are my propositions :

Translation : The closest way to say it would be "Spaan vahdin" (Shield maiden) just like in this word wall :

"Here fell the shield maiden Valkrys, who fought bravely, but was wrong to Trust the strength of a borrowed blade."

The problem is that Valkyries come from Norse mythology which is a bit different than in the Elder Scrolls. We know that Valkyries accompanied the souls of the heroes to the Valhalla. If you reeeaaaly want to express this idea you could just say "Spaan vahdin do Sovngarde" (Shield maiden of Sovngarde)
