Translation check

Not wanting to spam the question board but I came to Nilgol for mine/pit, if that sounds about right how does Krenjotznilgol sound as a rough "Broken Fang Mine"? I couldn't find a "fang" translation which I thought was a little odd but I took Jot for Maw and threw a -z on it to indicate sharpness per Tuz.

Short answer: Krent-Qethsejot Golz-Yah Jotsegol might be the most precise (and wordy)

Long answer:

Saying "Broken Fang Mine" in Dovahzul can be very redundant, given that we only have "jot" to help with describing both a fang (tooth in the maw) and a mine (maw in the ground). A fang is a "tooth used for tearing flesh" (closest I can come up with is "bone of the mouth for tearing" or "qethsejot fah vaaz"). You can alternatively imply teeth by simply using "maw" within a context that can only be implying use of a tooth -- for example, "the dog tore the flesh of the cat" (fin dok vaaz slen do kaaz). That can only happen with teeth, so saying "The dog's maw tore into the flesh of the cat" can work in place of "The dog's teeth or canine or fang" -- in most situations. With "Broken Fang", Perhaps maybe "Krent Qethsejot" might work (broken bones-of-jaw). See how "qethsegol" is formed (stone, literally "bones of ground" -- from a word wall text).

If you want to convey the concept of a mine, I think you'd either need to communicate the purpose of the mine itself. Golz is rock, and that can be used in the descriptions for "quarry" (open to the air) and "mine" (long tunnels). Consider using "nir" (hunt) "yah" (seek) "govey" (remove) or "tovit" (search) to describe the activity of mining. Here are my suggestions:

Cave - Jotsegol: Use this for simplicity when talking about any type of cave (all mine types included).

More Wordy Version: Golz-Nir Jotsegol - Rock-Hunt(ing) Cave

Alternatives: Golz-Yah, Golz-Govey, Golz-Tovit

For Broken Fang Mine, Krent-Qethsejot Golz-Yah Jotsegol might be the least wordy title you could come up with that describes "broken", "fang", and "mine" in the most detail.
