Ruvgein, a member here, created a thread discussing how to say "love" in Dovahzul. You can find it HERE. Hatred is more of a situational thing. The fanmade Legacy word for "hate" is irkbaan, but the Legacy lexicon has essentially been retired on this site and is only really useful for personal projects. Instead, you could say hi los dii hokoron, "you are my enemy," or you could say zu'u ni laan wah dreh daar, "I do not want to do that." It depends on the context in which you're using the word. Dovahzul isn't often translated word-for-word, so you might have to rephrase your original statement to use words that do exist within the canon dictionary. Be creative and find a good workaround for words that you can't locate in the Translator or Dictionary. It takes a bit of mental gymnastics to translate some things into Dovahzul, but it's worth it in the end! (Edit: Seems the Question Board is messing up again and replacing letters with numbers. This has happened before, and I can't figure out what triggers it. I'll message the admin and see if he can fix it.) |
