Skyrim's two-year anniversary is coming up, and to celebrate, we're rolling out some fun new features: gold, and the item shop! Check out the details below! What is Gold?Gold is a new system of spendable points. It’s similar to but separate from experience points; you gain gold as you participate here on the site. How can I earn Gold?Like experience points, you can earn gold by creating new words or posting in the forums. Other ways you can earn gold include participating in site events such as the Jarl’s Bounty, or by making a noteworthy contribution to the community. Current members have been given an amount of gold that reflects their participation up to this point. What can I do with Gold?Gold can be used to open chests in the Item Shop. If you’re feeling generous, you can also give gold to other users! What are Items?Items are collectible tokens modeled after items found in Skyrim. Each member has a Hoard on their profile page that displays which items they’ve unlocked. There are 150+ items that come in four item types: common, rare, ultra-rare, and legendary. Different chests in the Item Shop offer varying chances at these types of items. Try your luck! Unlike other items, legendary items are exclusive and can only be obtained through special events. Just like gold, you can give an item you have to another user. This will remove it from your Hoard and place it in theirs. Last but not least, have fun! Look for opportunities to earn some exclusive items soon. Comment below with any cool items you've found! |

- Ebony Sword (:D)
- Orcish Helmet
- Petty Soul Gem
- Amulet of Zenithar
All of them appear white, although the chest itself states, I get an guaranteed ultra-rare?
nonetheless, nice items for my first chest "ingame" =)

Crotha Nice finds! There is a minor issue in Google Chrome where sometimes items appear in the Hoard without their proper backgrounds. Refresh the page and you should see the Ebony Sword in all its ultra-rare glory! |

- Petty Soul Gem
- Amulet of Zenithar

Nice finds! There is a minor issue in Google Chrome where sometimes items appear in the Hoard without their proper backgrounds. Refresh the page and you should see the Ebony Sword in all its ultra-rare glory!
