She drew a slow breath and released it. "I'm sorry, Legate. But I need to go rest or my wounds will never heal." |

Ahkrinfeynvokun He nods in understanding, motioning a pair of Praetorians over to them. "These two shall escort you to your room. I wish you well. Salve, Falin." He gives her a quick salute, before turning around and marching towards the castrum. |

Lokonikah She gave a slight bow to him before he turned and left. Could she be letting her emotions cloud her judgement? No, it's been over six years since this mess started. She could only hope this would send a stronger message to Makor. Or would he just think I'm the traitor? She shook her head before hesitantly taking the arm of a Praetorian. "I'm sorry, I've overdone it today." |

Having finally reached her room, Falin dismissed the Praetorians. "Thank you for your help, you should get some rest." They snapped a quick salute before taking their leave. In a matter of moments, weapons, equipment, and armor were strewn rather haphazardly about as the Immortal collapsed into bed. Her ankle was bruised and swollen. It ached in protest to the amount of standing and walking on it she had done. Hopefully it'll be better when I leave tomorrow. Not that I'll be walking that much. To think Tiberius had accepted her offer to come to Valenwood. It would certainly be a shock to him and his men given what they were accustomed to. She couldn't help but wonder how long it would be before complaints were raised or some kind of compromise would need to be worked out. |

Makor gets up to head to bed, Gilda already lay there sleeping, he sets himself on the bed and falls asleep in a matter of seconds. |

Draconus was still walking around, wandering in the middle of the night. Some might think it unsafe to be walking around at night but Draconus didn't care. He was stumped. Almost 20 years gone by since Mogruls disappearence and they found nothing and now there wasn't much to do. Draconus thought back to when Makor offered him to be his Court Wizard, he knew what he'd have too give up yet he agreed to it. There was alot that happened over the years yet it seemed to go by faster as uf it was only a week ago when he'd visited Orsinium for the first time for centuries since it was founded. But now…he just stayed. He never really got out of the long house much since he was needed as and advisor, he couldn't go to Apocrypha to get any tomes on magic for they would wonder where he went. It was almost as if Draconus had become attached to Orsinium…Perhaps he is but the thing that mattered was that Draconus promised to help get Mogrul back, even if Mogrul was dead or gone from Tamriel that didn't seem to bother Makor but Draconus gave his word, despite everything he'd given up. |

NEXT MORNING Makor gets up and puts on a tunic, Gilda lay there still sleeping. He walks to the main room as servants pour wine and give slices of bread and venison, and some vegetables, he thanks them and devours the food. |

Draconus was out wandering around still, he didn't sleep nor did he stop. He just kept walking. When he arrived at the longhouse he went straight to go talk to Makor "Makor…" |

Dawn had finally arrived. Groaning, Falin forced herself to wake. She sat up and stretched while examining her ankle. While it was still a little tender, the swelling and bruising had gone down considerably from the day before. She'd be fine for the journey, that was all that mattered. She quickly got dressed and gathered her things. There was no doubt the Legate and his men would be up and moving around by now. They likely wouldn't be ready to head out any time however. Moving towards the door, she froze. Makor's heavy footsteps could be heard in the hall. Should she even say anything to him before leaving? Or would it be better to just leave without a word? |
