You have a percentage of chance, you roll a d100 (100 sided die) and if your result is below your chance, you win, if it is above, you miss/lose. If it is under 10 then it is a critical hit, if it is over 90 then it is a complete miss with a bad result (ie. tripping or hitting yourself).
