Falin blinked, "Oh . . . thank you. Can't say anyone's said that to me before." She motioned for them to sit around the embers of the fire before ducking back into her tent. After a moment, she reemerged with a small mortar, pestle, and apothecary satchel. Opening the satchel, she withdrew several dried insects, grinding them before pouring water into the mix. "It will taste bad," She held the small mortar out to Tiberius, "But I can't help without it." |
