Zii muttered something in her sleep and almost woke up, but fell asleep.

(So umm Lok are you going to do what you said you were gonna do to Qorian?)

During the Tsaesci tour at night, when most people were asleep, the silhoutte of the town was spotted by the Imperial Man o' War offshore. Thinking they had an easy spot for target practice, they load and prime their mortars, targeting them at the unknown, and unsuspecting town.

Back at the town, several Altmer citizens wonder why there could be thunder when the nearest storm had already passed over days ago. Soon, their wondering is turned to screams of pain and terror as explosions rip along the coastline, a few mortar pieces landing into the town and causing a few buildings to collapse, killing dozens and wounding hundreds more.

The Daimyo hisses when the explosions rip through the town. When the second volley is heard approaching, they and the guards take cover wherever possible. Two of the samurai are caught in an explosion, one being torn in half while the other is badly wounded. ((Look up mortars in Assassin's Creed 4 to see what they do))

Emily woke up to the sound of mortar fire "Zii! Wake up!" 

"Huh?! What?!" Zii hears the mortar fire as well. "Oh, no." She got out of bed and got her gear on.

Sauriil leaped back. Draaf!

'Daimyo! Run! Get more samurai!' 

'Makor! Hurry up! It's the Imperials!' He ran to the shore to see the large ship. He growled.

Emily put on her green cloak, picked up her shortsword putting it to her side, picked up her staff and opened the door to the sight of fire and screams "By the gods..."

Sauriil leaped back. Draaf!

'Daimyo! Run! Get more samurai!' 

'Makor! Hurry up! It's the Imperials!' He ran to the shore to see the large ship. He growled.

Makor eyes open and he grabs Volendrung and runs towards Sauriil "Shit!" 

Emily grabs Zii's hand "Come with me!" she yelled

Another volley is heard, this one tearing apart more buildings and ending more lives. But, it hits another place, one that is very important: The Governer's Tower. It is set ablaze, with a familiar figure running out, screaming as his flesh is burnt from the flames. But now, however, elven cannons on the Shoreside wall return fire, the staccato of eight 8lbs cannons far louder than the distant booming of the Man o' War.

The Daimyo nods to Sauril, having one of his remaining warriors slither way at a surprisingly quick speed, Tetsui turning back to Sauril.

<"Is this the invasion you spoke of ?!">

Tetsui gives the Tsaesci version of a scowl, before a fifth volley hits the town. A trio of explosions explode among the group, the concussion of the bombs knocking them down. Their ears would be ringing, and the bodies of many elves, civilian and soldier alike, were strewn about the street they were in. Governer Qorian is screaming pain, everything bellow his waist just... gone.

Soon, several calls in Altmeris from soldier fill the air along with the screaming and cannon fire. They are saying... something about longboats...

Then the Cyrodiilic chanting comes.
