I’m interested in buying an affordable property in Cambodia, but I’m not sure where to start. I’ve read that areas like Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville have some budget-friendly options, but I’m looking for something under $100,000. Does anyone have experience with this? What are the best locations for cheaper real estate, and what should I be aware of when investing in Cambodia? Any advice would be appreciated!

I’ve looked into this recently! For affordable options, Phnom Penh and Siem Reap are good places to start. I found a lot of helpful information on the World Estate website. They have a dedicated section for budget properties in Cambodia. You can find properties under $100,000, like apartments and small condos in growing areas. Here’s the link to their listings: https://worldestate.homes/en/cambodia/cheap/. One thing to keep in mind is that the legal process can be a bit tricky for foreigners, so make sure to work with a good local lawyer to navigate the paperwork. Also, always check for any additional fees or maintenance costs. Visiting the location in person, if possible, will give you a much better idea of what you’re getting into. Good luck! |
